In honor of the work of soldiers and veterans across the world, the American Legion Auxiliary will distribute poppies on Friday, May 23 at the Stevens Point Post Office and on Saturday, May 24 in front of local retailers. The Poppy Drive, according to Auxiliary members, is the oldest program for the American Legion Auxiliary. The funds raised from the poppy sale will be used to support veterans.
