The Carrollton Aqua Racers second home meet of the season was a successful one on Friday night. The squad broke 10 team records swimming at the Rosemeade Pool.
The Carrollton Aqua Racers turned in a strong performance Saturday at the Region VII “A” meet that took place at Mesquite’s Town East Pool. The Aqua Racers in individual and relay races won 17 gold medals, 48 silver medals and 25 bronze medals.
Few people get to leave their trade at the top of their game. Just ask Brett Favre. Even fewer can say they are doing so as a cancer survivor. Carrollton Aqua Racers head coach Kathi Rayborn can say both of those things.
The Carrollton Aqua Racers traveled to Frisco for the second time this season as they competed against teams from Frisco and McKinney. The swimmers turned in the 240 top times at the event.
