May 16 (Bloomberg) -- Avis Europe Plc , the continent's largest auto-rental company, said sales increased in the first four months of the year in all of its markets excluding Spain.
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Avis Europe Plc. said the group expects continued good volume growth, albeit with slower growth in Spain for the rest of the year, adding its expectations for the full year outcome remain unchanged.

“For the rest of the year the group expects continued good volume growth, albeit with slower growth in Spain. The increase in rental revenue per day is forecast to be better to a degree than previously expected,” said the group.
(AP:PARSIPPANY, N.J.) Avis Budget Group Inc. said Wednesday it named Thomas M. Gartland as its executive vice president of sales and marketing. Gartland will oversee the development of revenue generating activities and direct all marketing and sales functions, Avis Budget said.
