Louise Addis Corbett, 86, of 800 Thompson St., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of Carroll Corbett and daughter of the late Hugh Addis and Lula Whelchel Addis.
Mary Louise Granger Artmeier, 96, of Greensburg, died Sept. 29, 2008. Born May 28, 1912 in Decatur County, she was the daughter of Charles O. Granger and Mary Belle (Davis) Granger McGarry. She married Louis Artmeier Aug. 23, 1930; he preceded her in death June 23, 1993.
